Painting has a large place in my life. I have worked with colours and paint for as long as I can remember,
my career started when I was around three years old and in the dawn draw small orange men on the linoleumfloor in our kitchen.

And since then it just goes on.
I always play with my pen, let it run over whatever paper I get my hands on.
On my ticket when I sit on the train, on my papers when I´m sitting in a jobmeeting, on the morningpaper when I have my breakfast. I collect colours and lights within me, get most of my inspiration from nature and it´s beautiful shapes.

In the summertime I like to work outdoors instead of in my studio. It is so nice to just let all everyday problems disapper and sit outside under one of my appletrees and let the colours absorb me. Art is like fresh ari to me. When I paint I am free, I work without rules and demands.

I like variation in my work. Diffrent tecueniques and styles. Finding new ways, new inspiration and to never stop developing. If you like my work it makes me happy, if it makes you laugh, reflect, think or just let your thoughts fly away it makes me even happier.

All paintings I ever made include a piece of me. The idea comes to me when I sleep, grows in my mind, turns into colours and shapes on the canvas. My paintings are not made to answer questions, they instead invite you to join me among different shades and colours and take your reflections about life one step further. They take you into a strange world of hidden places and feelings within yourself. I work with acrylics on linen or cotton canvas. I cover the canvas with silk paper and white colour which gives the paintings their fragile look. Alizarin crimson red, which has a special place in my heart, appears in all my paintings to send out its strong effect to the viewer.
